Austin Kirk has had a dismal season to say the least. He is trying to work on a new pitching delivery that hopefully will let him pitch like he did last season. Last season Kirk sported a 3.12 ERA in 152 innings with a WHIP of 1.29 across 21 games started in Daytona and 4 in Tennessee. This season, however, he was pitching to a 4.50 ERA in 54 innings with a 1.59 WHIP in Daytona and was later promoted to Tennessee where he has struggled to a 7.02 ERA in 42 innings with a 1.77 WHIP. Hopefully this new delivery will help smooth things out for Austin, because he could have a bright future ahead of him.
